Lately, I have been asked several times what my skincare routine is. To be honest, it is always changing. The routine I had a few years ago absolutely won’t correspond to my skin anymore and won’t feed it’s needs like it did at the time. This article is not about make up, as the title may suggest, it is about skincare that makes my skin so good that I don't need more than just an Au Naturelle look.

I have always loved make up, especially going all crazy with it with false lashes and what not. But I feel like the better my skin looks, the less make up I need. I do not have creams and serums for every little part of my face or body, today I am just going to share a few of my favorite products that I'd like to highlight.

For me, it all starts with a good daycream. I have tried many brands, but the L'oréal Skin Perfection daycream is what works wonders for my skin at the moment. It makes my skin feel so fresh and hydrated, and it smells nice but not too strong...

As for the make up, I don't usually wear that much anymore but I do wear foundation and I like to highlight and contour. (Did not do that in these photos) so to set everything and make sure it stays in place perfectly,  I spray the Clarins Fix Make up setting spray over my makeup wich also boosts your skin and keeps it matte. This stuff is amazing!

I have learnt that going to sleep with make up on, even after a long night of partying, is the absolute worst you can do! To take of my make up quickly I use the Qiriness Velvety Eye make up remover. It literally feels velvety on your skin and it takes off waterproof make up in an instant! It is the only make up remover that is gentle enough to my skin to not leave it with a burning feeling. Again, this stuff is amazing!

So basically, these 3 products are my top 3 lifesavers when it comes to having perfectly healthy skin and rocking an au naturelle look :) Do you know any of these products? Let me know what you think! 

MAKE UP | PERRIE EDWARDS "WORD UP" TUTORIAL

ENG: Yesterday was a big day for my YouTube channel! Not only did I hit 34,000 subs, I also hit 10 MILLION total views! It's growing so fast, also the fashion and beauty videos on my channel, it's amazing! My channel grows with over 1000 new subscribers every month so I like where I'm going with it! Anyways, since a lot of my subscribers are One Direction fans and therefore also Little Mix fans (you see, 1D hottie Zayn Malik is engaged to Little Mix cutie Perrie Edwards) and yeah, I have a pretty big girl crush on Little Mix as well. It never surprises me when my subscribers ask me to do a Little Mix inspired make up tutorial, so this time Perrie's look in the music video Word Up was on many people's wishlists. While I only uploaded the tutorial yesterday, people have now asked me to do Jade Thirlwalls (yup, also Little Mix member) brown/blue smokey eye look. Gotta love these fandoms;) Enjoy the video dolls!

ENG: This year I decided to start early with everyone's Christmas presents, that's why we've put them under the trea already and I must say: it gets me even more excited for Chrismas! I've been wearing my Holidays are coming t-shirt a lot this week (got it at Primark) and I've been actually enjoying the x-mas vibe a lot! Last year and the year before I was so stressed out with internship that I simply feel like I kind of missed the whole Christmas vibe. Now I've been ast home a lot more and seeing our beautiful tree every day and hearing all the Christmas songs makes me super excited! It's gonna be lots of fun with the family♥

ENG: My sister is back from England!!!! Me so happy:) We went to Nijmegen today and the first thing we did was take some outfit pictures.. My own sis is my best photographer:)

I recently went Christmas shopping and I decided to buy myself an early Christmas present as well.. This super comfy, super long knitted scarf from H&M!

I don't have a thing for scarfs at all, I always find it annoying to wear scarfs because my hair gets in the way and it tangles up or gets static. But, with this cold weather coming up, a big warm scarf is a must. I was very happy to get my hands on this one, as it goes with my black, white and grey winter coats:)

NL: Mijn zus is weer terug uit Engeland!!! Ik ben zooo blij:) We gingen vandaag in Nijmegen kerstkadootjes inslaan, en we hebben meteen weer nieuwe outfit foto's gemaakt. Mijn eigen zus is toch wel mijn beste fotografe;)

Ik heb mezelf laatst ook vast getrakteerd op een vroeg kerstkadootje.. Deze superwarme, superlange H&M sjaal! Ik heb echt helemaal niets met sjaals; ik vind ze altijd heel irritant vanwege mijn lange haar dat er statisch van word en in de knoop raakt. Maar, toch is zo'n sjaal een must  met dit koude weer. Ik was erg blij dat ik deze zag hangen, want hij past precies bij mijn zwarte, grijze en witte winterjassen!

BEHIND THE SCENES | LUXURY FOR PRINCESS SHOOT II

ENG: It's only been 1 month since the last Luxury For Princess photoshoot, but yesterday I had another shoot with the other lovely princesses ... Not only the other girls were there, there was also a tv crew to interview the lovely owners of LFP and also film us girls during the shoot. I shamelessly took a selfie with the crew in the background haha! 

We were all wearing our brand new 280gram sets which are also a bit longer; 24 inches. If you want to read more about the new set, check out my review here:) I did not take photos behind the scenes with my camera, as I had to lend out my Nikon camera to the photographer because there was a problem with her camera's battery. NL: De vorige fotoshoot van Luxury For Princess was pas een maand geleden, maar gisteren was het weer tijd voor een leuke, gezellige shoot met de andere princesses... Niet alleen de andere meiden waren er weer, dit keer was er ook een cameraploeg aanwezig. De lieve eigenaren van LFP werden geintervieuwd en wij meiden werden ook gefilmd tijdens het shooten. Binnenkort als het op tv komt kan ik er meer over vertellen! Ondertussen nam ik schaamteloos een selfie met de tv crew op de achtergrond terwijl zij aan het filmen waren;)

NL: Prachtig haar heeft niet altijd met verzorgingsproducten te maken. Ikzelf spray vaak van alles in mijn haar om het shiny te krijgen, maar soms moet je gewoon back to basic. Rock & Ruddle haarborstels zijn dan precies wat je haar nodig heeft!

ENG: Today is my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversay! We celebrated it on a 3-day family trip a few days ago. I went to Zwolle, a city about an hour away from where I live, together with my sister, parents and grandparents. The 4 star hotel De Koperen Hoogte was amazing. The hotel itself is a tall tower which you can see from miles away because it's lit up at night. My sister and I had our own room, but it would have been big enough for the six of us!  

The staff was so friendly, the food was delicious, and I couldn't stop taking pictures of the blingbling hall way or any other part of the hotel actually. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see why:) Even though I had to study a lot in my room, it was a great family trip! My grandparents loved spending quality time with us too. Tonight we're going out for dinner (again, haha) to end this big celebration:D

NL: Vandaag waren mijn opa en oma officieel 60 jaar getrouwd! We hebben het een aantal dagen terug al supergroots gevierd door met de familie 3 dagen weg te gaan... We gingen naar hotel De Koperen Hoogte in Zwolle. Aangezien mijn zus en ik vaak naar hotels als Het Alexander hotel of Hotel Huisterduin in Noordwijk gaan, kon ik me niets beters voorstellen, vooral niet in Zwolle. Wat had ik het mis! Dit hotel heeft niet voor niets 4 sterren, het is (vooral 's avonds) een plaatje om naar te kijken, het heeft een lift aan de buitenkant en de entree riep bij mij dezelfde reactie op als de grote magische trap in het Disney hotel. Prachtig! 

Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk, het eten was keer op keer heerlijk, vooral in het ronddraaiende restaurant helemaal in de top, en ik kon maar niet stoppen met foto's maken van het prachtige hotel. Ondanks dat ik tussendoor moest studeren, was het een super weekend. Vooral voor mijn opa en oma was het top op quality time met ons door te brengen:D Vanavond gaan we (nog een keer) uit eten om deze bijzondere gelegenheid mooi af te sluiten:)

MAKE UP | KIM KARDASHIAN INSPIRED

Here is how I did it in a simple step by step:)
1: I applied the Maybelline BB cream with a foundation brush, then the BeYu concealer under my eyes and I then brushed the Maybelline Fit Me powder on to set the foundation and concealer.
2: Next I used my fave bronzing pearls from a Dutch store called Hema. These are perfect for countouring!
3: Then I used the Etos bronzing powder on top of that, but I also used this for my eyes. The second picture shows exactly which color I used on which part of my eyes.
4: I used a brown Essence eye pencil to fill in my brows and I used it on my lower lashline. I lalalalalooove to use the Essence waterproof eye liner after I applied eyeshadow.
5: As usual,  I then apply my false lashes. I've been obsessed with the Sultry Lashes from Primark. They're quite natural, but get very dramatic when I use my Bourjois Mascara on top of it.
6: For the lips I used a nude/peachy lipliner and creamy lipstick, both from Essence.

Tijdens de zomervakantie keek ik non stop naar Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Gisteren was het toevallig op toen ik de tv aanzette, en dit keer blééf ik maar kijken. Ik was helemaal weg van de make up van Kim Kardashian. De look leek heel erg op de onderstaande foto. Ik vind Kim echt een van de mooiste vrouwen op deze planeet, met en zonder make up. Haar make up was toch best opvallend hoewel ze neutrale kleuren gebruikte. Ik besloot vandaag haar look uit te proberen. 

Dit zijn de simpele stappen voor deze look:
1. Ik bracht als eerste de Maybelline BB cream aan met een foundation kwast. Daarna de BeYu concealer en Maybelline Fit Me poeder zodat alles lekker lang en glimloos blijft zitten:)
2: Daarna gebruikte ik de bronzing pearls van Hema. Superfijn, en ideaal om te countouren!
3: Vervolgens gebruikte ik mijn Etos bronzing poeder erover heen voor een beetje glans op mijn wangen. De kleuren gebruikte ik afzonderlijk als highlighter en oogschaduw. Op de onderstaande foto staat met nummertjes aangegeven wat ik waar gebruikte.
4: Ik gebruik altijd een bruin oogpotlood van Essence voor mijn wenkbrauwen en op mijn onderste ooglid. Ik ben helemaal fan van de wateproof eyeliner van Essence, die ik altijd na mijn oogschaduw aanbreng.
5: Zoals altijd komen daarna de nepwimpers aan de beurt. Ik ben helemaal fan van de Sultry Lashes van Primark. Ze zijn best natuurlijk, maar met de mascara van Bourjois erover heen juist super dramatisch!
6: Als laatst gebruikte ik de lipliner en lipstick van Essence in een nude /peachy kleur.

Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie van deze post vinden aangezien ik heb al lang geen make up post gemaakt!
