If there are two things I never really pictured myself in it is a) a turtleneck sweater and b) a bodycon dress. To my surprise, a mix of these two are actually pretty fantastic! This new webshop called Malifisent sent me a few amazing pieces to try and this knitted bodycon dress was one of them! I've got it in 3 colors and I am actually surprised at how often I've already worn them, haha.
They are comfortable and easy to slip over a pair of biker leggings or leather leggings. In this look I wore the knitted bodycon dress with my Topshop biker leggings, an oversized blazer and boots that I haven't worn before. But I will from now on, they're so comfy! ENG: These photos are from a few days ago when my sister and I went off to the city to shop for the latest Christmas presents for our family. I decided to take my camera with me because I thought it would be fun to capture the nice Christmas decorations and the cozy vibe in the city centre. Too bad for us, it was raining and hailing like crazy! We found shelter from the rain at a cute old little church that we did not even know excisted haha... That's where we took these photos:) I was wearing my favorite sneakers of all time: the best lookalikes I've ever seen of the Isabel Marant Bekket sneakers, which I got off ebay. I hardly ever wear my glasses, but today I made the exception of wearing these geeky glasses. What do you think of my casual look?
ENG: Last night was the perfect end of my weekend. My sister and I went out for some dinner and a fun movie. The sun was shining, the city vibe felt calm and relaxed... A typical "Sundaze" feeling.
We decided to take some outfit photos while the sun was still up. A big part of the city where I live is being renewed, with lots of new stores including a big Primark! We loved the mirror-like interior of the new Only store so we shot some photos there.
The weather was nice, but we shot these pictures around dinner time so it was already getting a bit chilly. I thought my shoes were the perfect solution, they're not boots but not open shoes either! It was pretty hard to walk around the city on those because also big parts of streets are being renewed. But well, we did make it to the restaurant and to the cinema so I it was a great evening!
P.S. I thought it was pretty creative to wear a bronze bangle/bracelet over my bun to give my hair a shiny touch;)

NL: Gisteravond was een perfecte afsluiting van het weekend. Mijn zus en ik gingen een hapje eten in Nijmegen, bij Popolare. Wat een leuk concept hebben ze daar! Je kan helemaal zelf bedienen met behulp van de ipad die je bij binnenkomst krijgt! Er waren heerlijke tapas, pasta's en pizza's! Neem een kijkje op mijn instagram om te kijken wat voor lekkers we te eten hadden. Daarna gingen we gezellig naar de film, Hartenstraat! Wat hebben we gelachen!
Het centrum van Nijmegen wordt op dit moment een beetje verbouwd; zo komt er éindelijk een Primark! Mijn oog viel echter op het interieur van de nieuwe Only winkel. De bolle spiegels zorgden voor een perfecte achtergrond voor outfit foto's, dus daar besloten mijn zus en ik even foto's te maken.
Het weer was nog best lekker maar het begon al af te koelen, dus vond ik mijn schoenen een slimme keuze. Het zijn geen enkellaarsjes maar ook weer geen open schoenen. Het was lastig om er de hele stad mee door te lopen omdat de straten nog niet overal goed gelegd waren. Maar goed, we kwamen uit eindelijk aan bij de bioscoop en het was een geslaagde afsluiting van het weekend!
P.S. Ik vond het wel grappig om een koperen armband om mijn knot heen te doen voor een shiny touch in mijn haar;)

ENG: Weather you're laidback in jeans and a tee, or glitzed up in a stand-out party dress... a fake fur coat always spices up your outfit! I actually couldn't wait for temperatures to drop when I got this gorgeous Kenzaa fake fur coat♥ It's so comfy and warm, I've been wearing it for the past week to internship because I'm always freezing during the 1,5 hour train ride. NL: Of je nu in voor een laidback look gaat met jeans of een glamorous jurkje, een nepbont jas geeft iedere outfit dat beetje extra vavavoom. Ik kon gewoon niet wachten tot het wat kouder werd zodat ik deze prachtige Kenzaa bontjas aan kon♥ Ik heb 'm de afgelopen week bijna iedere dag aangehad naar stage omdat ik het altijd ontzettend koud heb tijdens de treinreis van 1,5 uur. From must-have jumpers to cozy oversized knits and sweaters, spring fashion is coming our way again. We might be getting caught out by spring's changeable weather, so make sure you come prepared! You can never go wrong with chunky knits, classic cardigans and my personal favorite: sweaters! I found two of my spring must haves on of my favorite Dutch web shops Sans-Online!
Eng: January is the month of Amsterdam Fashion Week, which means new spring trends! I cannot wait to see what the designers have in store for us, but until then, I decided to take a look at some of my favorite web shops and get myself some nice items that are spring-proof. I tend to always wear a top with a blazer or a tee with a cute cardigan, but I realized I haven't got that many jumpers or sweaters.. Time to change that! I found an oversized jumper from Vero Moda, which turned out to be the fluffiest most comfortable one I now own. It is perfect for spring, because it's quite a light fabric so it would be perfect to wear with leggings and a thin jacket.
Spring is also sweater weather! And guess what I found? The coolest Only sweaters, like this one with 'Backstage Pass' on it. It's totally me, and again, easy breezy fabric which makes it perfect for spring.

NL: Deze maand staat weer in het teken van Amsterdam Fashion Week.. oftewel, de nieuwe lente trends!Ik kan niet wachten tot het lente wordt, maar ik bedacht me: ik moet eens op zoek gaan naar wat lente-proof truien, die heb ik namelijk niet zo veel. Nu koop ik tegenwoordig veel kleding online, dus ik ging mijn favoriete webshops af op zoek naar een leuke trui. Bij een van mijn favo shops Sans-Online kwam ik gave Only sweaters tegen, waaronder deze oversized sweater met 'Backstage Pass' opdruk. Helemaal iets voor mij, en perfect voor het voorjaar aangezien het een fijne, dunne stof is. Daarnaast kwam ik een leuke Vero Moda trui tegen, grofgebreid en achter wat langer. Leuk met een legging en een dun jasje in het voorjaar!
Bekijk hieronder hoe ik mijn nieuwe truien zou dragen:)
Het beste wat wij meiden kunnen dragen is onze glimlach, toch? Ik was al tijden op zoek naar een goed bedrijf waar ik mijn tanden kon laten bleken, met écht goed resultaat en voor een redelijke prijs. Gelukkig heb ik mogen samenwerken met een top bedrijf qua tanden bleken: Smile Brilliant! Dit bedrijf heeft een tandenbleekset waarmee je het helemaal zelf thuis kunt doen.
De set bevat uiteraard instructies en potjes waarmee je zelf een pasta kan aanmaken om vervolgens een afdruk van je gebit mee te maken. Deze afdruk kun je in de bijgeleverde envelop terugsturen naar het laboratorium en zij sturen je de plastic trays binnen 1 week terug. Ik heb al een keer plastic trays laten maken dus ik kon gelijk aan de slag met bleken!
Mijn tanden waren eigenlijk al best wit, ik had alleen wat verkleuringen op de hoektanden van het vele thee drinken. Ik heb eerder mijn tanden laten bleken maar dan was ik al weer snel aan een nieuwe behandeling toe. Met deze gel van Smile Brilliant merkte ik na éen keer al verschil, dus nu na 6 x bleken stop ik even met de behandeling. Mocht het over een tijdje weer nodig zijn dan werk ik het gewoon weer bij. De set bevat namelijk 3 spuitjes met bleek gel en per spuitje kun je zo'n 12 behandelingen doen. Ik heb 6 dagen lang iedere dag zo'n 1,5 uur gebleekt:)
Voordat ik de gel aanbracht heb ik eerst de gel in de paarse verpakking aangebracht; deze zorgt ervoor dat je tanden niet gevoelig worden van de bleek gel. De bleekgel bevat 22% peroxide, dat is het hoogste waarmee ik ooit gebleekt heb maar dat is nog steeds een veilig percentage. De meeste doe-het-zelf sets bevatten maar 16% peroxide, daarom is het resultaat vaak minder drastisch. Smile Brilliant werkt in ieder geval perfect voor mij! Je kunt het lekker thuis doen en het is totaal niet ongemakkelijk... De plastic trays passen perfect voor jouw tanden dus je kunt gewoon gezellig kletsen tussendoor ;) Wat vinden jullie van het resultaat?
P.S. De set was eerst $179,95 maar nu $119,95. Smile Brilliant betaald verzendkosten en de verzendkosten van de trays die ze naar je toe sturen. Alleen de kosten van het opsturen van je afdruk naar het laboratorium zijn voor jouw rekening.
ENG: As soon as it starts getting a tiny bit colder I reach out to my fake fur coats. I can't wait for the winter to come.. Another thing that got me excited for the colder season? These Invito boots! They're made out of genuine leather and they have got a big high heel.. They're very comfortable though. I can see myself wearing these througout the winter!

NL: Zo gauw het weer wat kouder wordt pak ik meteen mijn fake fur jas van de kapstok. Ik heb er nu een paar en ik vind ze heerlijk comfy, ik kan niet wachten op de winter! Nog iets waardoor de winter van mij wel mag komen? Deze gave Invito laarsjes! Ze zijn van echt leer en hebben een super hoge maar comfortabele hak. Ik zie mezelf hier de hele winter wel op lopen!

ENG: I´ve said it before; just when you think it can't get any better, Luxury for Princess comes with a new, longer and thicker set! 280 grams and 24" of luxurious remy hair exensions to be precise. I've had many different sets in different colors, so I thought it would be nice to show you guys the difference between these sets and also the HUGE difference it is with my natural hair.
Luxury For Princess offers so many different sets, varying from a set for just volume to the set i am wearing in the photo below; major thickness and length. This brand new set of 280 grams is called the Princess Superior set and it's the newest thing out there on the market. Almost 300 grams of hair may seem like a lot, but this consists of 8 pieces that spread the weight out over your entire head. I've been wearing my hair extensions for 2 days now, I braided them and went to sleep with them! It's so comfortable wearing these extensions and they are so easy to maintain.
One question I always get is: how long do they last? I would say if you take good care of them, they can last up to a year. I still have my very first set, but that's dyed dark brown so I will keep it for if I ever go back to that color. I've also got 2 sets that I have dyed to a bright red dipdye and one with a blonde ombre. Dyeing them is not going to help last them for long, but still: these sets are in great shape. Just to answer that question:)

NL: Ik heb het al wel eens gezegd... Net als je denkt dat het niet beter kan, komt Luxury for Princess weer met een nieuwe set hair extensions! De 280 gram set van wel 24" aan menselijk remy hair! Ik heb verschillende sets gehad dus het leek me leuk om het verschil hiertussen te laten zien. Met name het verschil tussen mijn eigen haar en haar mét extensions is enorm!
Luxury for Princess heeft sets voor slechts volume in je haar, maar ook sets voor mega veel lengte en dik haar, zoals de nieuwe set die ik in bovenstaande foto draag. De set heet Princess Superior. Bijna 300 gram aan extra haar op je hoofd lijkt veel, maar dat gewicht is verdeeld over 8 stroken haar over je hele hoofd. Je merkt er dus niets van! Ik ga er zelfs mee slapen. Ik maak dan 2 vlechten in mijn haar en zo zit mijn haar de volgende dag meteen goed met een beetje slag erin;)
Een vraag die ik altijd krijg is: hoe lang gaan ze mee? Dat ligt er aan hoe je met het haar omgaat. Ik heb meerdere sets, de sets die ik niet geverfd heb zijn nu nog steeds prachtig en kunnen zeker wel een jaar mee. Ik heb ook een set een knalrode dipdye gegeven en eentje juist blonder gemaakt. Ondanks dat ze geverfd zijn is de kwaliteit nog steeds super, alleen merk je dat ze iets sneller uitdrogen door het verven. Bij deze de vraag beantwoord:)

ENG: I have been quite obsessed with long knitted cardigans lately. Obsessed as in, I bought 4 new long and warm cardigans this month. The one I am wearing in these photos is my latest purchase from New Look! I have found that these are perfect for this time of the year, since it is not very cold yet here in Holland. It usually is November, but the weather's been nice to us so a warm long cardigan instead of a winter coat will do for now:)
I wore the cardigan over my favorite high waisted mom jeans from Pull&Bear, my Boy London t-shirt, Isabel Marant sneakers and Michael Kors bag. I went for a casual look since it was just an afternoon stroll with my dog and my sis, I do tend to take my camera everywhere I go with my sis, since we don't often have time for outfit photos... So we'll take the opportunity if we happen to spot a nice place to shoot!
