I had a huge post planned for today, but unfortunately my camera thought different.... I had to take the outfit pictures with my old camera, excusez moi if the quality sucks XD Glad I got the close-ups with my good camera! :) Todays look was actually quite simple, but sometimes, simplicity is key ♥
My mom told some colleagues at work about my blog, and one of them gave her this amazing magazine for me! So sweet! Since I was 'celebrating' my holiday alone today, I decided to curl up on the couch with a bunch of cupcakes and hot tea, and watch Keeping up with the Kardashians and Kim & Kourtney take New York all day.. That made me remind myself that my inspiration folder had all these images of Kim Kardashian in it! figured it was time for a celebstyle post again, so I collected these pictures of her. Bright colored one-pieces or just a pop of color, she definitely has a thing for the color-blocking trend!
I think that girl has got some amazing sense of style :D Plus, she always looks amazing, whether she is going to an event or just running errands...I think it is always important to look your best, and Ms Kardashian definitely does! I wonder if her Glamsquad team is doing her hair and make-up every day, or if she does is herself sometimes...Hmmm.. What do you think?

My sister and I decided to meet up in the city and grab some lunch! I always love going out for lunch/dinner, especially if we go to Starbucks afterwards and get some Caramel Frappucino's! I even had room for a little ice cream, yummy! The weather was perfect for it, and the rest of this week promises to be a real Dutch summer-like week! Too bad I won't need my favourite blazer then ;)

Glasses: must have accessory for this season!
You probably haven’t seen me wearing my glasses much for the past few months.. But that’s gonna change, because glasses are the perfect accessory for the upcoming season! I wear contacts almost every day, but when I do wear my favorite black nerdy glasses, I want them to add something special to my outfit. For example, I love to wear glasses with my hair up in a bun, some funky earrings and a rockchic look with leather accents. It's an accessory that I think should be seen, so I usually go for less make-up and my hair up so my glasses stand out. I made a collage of my favourite types of glasses that are hot this season.. I especially like Alexa Chung's specs! What about you?

Sky high.. That's what my new booties feel like! They looked SO comfy, even when I walked around in them through the store.. But even my 5-minute walk to the bus station was killing! I hope they will be less impossible to walk on once I've worn them a few times, because I absolutely love these beauties!

The weather was perfect today, so I didn't need my warm winter coat yet, my new H&M cardigan + leather jacket were enough. The Acne shearling jackets look really warm, comfy and the shearling is such a nice touch! Too bad, but I am not going to spend 995 dollars on that jacket, so instead I am going to challenge myself and try to DIY my old jacket into an Acne look-a-like:D Always around this time of the year, I get itchy to do some DIY pimping to my (old) clothes.. I still want patchwork jeans, because I think that makes your outfit look much more 'accessorized' than with just plain jeans XD! Cute with a simple top, blazer and my favourite killer heels.. Oh yeah, I can already imagine it!

This blouse is actually really old, I bought this on a market in France. Not worn often, but since the animal print/flower print is having it's comeback, I decided to wear it on this sunny day! Choosing for leather leggings wasn't the best idea, because it was way too hot! I'm still in love with my new bag, and I am glad I can combine this with almost everything :)
I decided to wear my hair back (I even used gel for it! I am usually a hairspray-only girl) and be easy on the make-up. Pretty hard for me since I love make-up and want to try out new things every day.. before I am going to decide what to wear tomorrow, I will flip throught my Elle Style Guide.. SO inspiring!
My other account (@Malu__S) is now my 'personal' account, where I will mostly tweet in Dutch.. And not always fashion related stuff.. My new account will be English and FASHION only :D

I have spent the last week with a lot of studying, doing homework and working, working and even more working. Everything goes by so fast .. school is almost over, and I'm 18 now, which makes me feel like I shoul be more grown-up while I'm not =p I can hardly keep up ..
Another thing that I can hardly keep up with is my blog ..I wish I had more time to update.. I still love blogging (duuh =p) , but I just wish my photo quality was better. My camera is about a million years old haha, and I've been promissing myself a new camera for half a year now.. But this time I mean it, I am going to get myself a new camera soon, yay!
