But let's face it, a little bit of everything is the best.Take a look at some fabulous unicorn hair inspiration below. If this doesn't convince you, nothing will.
As the saying goes: "Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn". In case you haven’t noticed yet, unicorn hair is a thing! Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since I last posted here on BLES Magazine. If you follow me om Instagram, you've probably seen some photos of me on top of a vulcano, at the beach and near some amazing historical buildings... in Sicily! I've been on holiday for 2 weeks and ever since I got back I've been extremely busy at work, so that explains me being MIA on here. But hey, I'm back! With some amazing sunnies and a discount code to share with you!
Glasseshop.com was so kind to have me pick out some new glasses online. I decided to go for some new sunnies for the summer. And they also thought of you, as they gave me a 50% discount code to share with my readers. You'll find it below this review. I picked out the Herbert Rectangle and the Edith Round sunglasses, as I didn't own a pair similar to these yet. I'm quite a fan of sunglasses, so these are a great addition to my collection. What I love most about these glasses?
The actual glasses are crystal clear! You know those random sunglasses they sell at, let's say.. H&M? Or Forever21? Sure the frames are super stylish, but the glasses are often plastic, made out of lower quality and providing darker vision. These on the other hand, are high quality glasses that are actually just as clear as my Ray-Bans or D&G sunnies. But the price is so much better. And to make it even more affordable, you should definitely use my discount code GSHOT50 which is 50% off for all eyeglasses and sunglasses, with the exception of sales frames.
The variety of glasses and sunglasses over at Glassesshop.com is major, they even offer prescription sunglasses, too! Make sure to check out the webshop and use my discount code for some cash off your order. You're welcome😋
I've got a new grey maxi cardigan from Follow Fashion, a Dutch webshop that sells great must have items, for a very nice price I must add! A cardigan like this one goes with pretty much anything and you can wear it under a jacket like I did for a casual touch. I've also got a new black Celine bag from Follow Fashion! Not the real one, no, but a pretty damn good look a like in my opinon. It's amazing! I even prefer this one over my Michael Kors bag now. It's a very spacious bag made out of steady material so it can carry everything I drag along to internship every day. The inside is lined with a black, velvety material so overall, this bag is very chic!
Tell me what you think of this new look? :) Also, check out Follow Fashion for more must have items!

With our hectic schedules nowadays, we would all wish we had 6-hour work days like the lucky bastards in Sweden. Or at least another day off to add to the weekend, so you actually have enough time to Netflix and chill. But the truth is, we're often working overtime while the work is never going to stop piling up anyways. So instead of stressing out about it: stop working harder and start working smarter! Here's how.
Take (more) breaks
So many people skip their breaks, eat their lunch behind the desk and just go, go, go. But there's a story about a woodcutter whose saw gets more blunt as time passes and he continues cutting down trees. If the woodcutter were to just stop sawing, sharpen his saw, and go back to cutting the tree with a sharp blade, he would actually save time and effort in the long run. It comes down to stepping back for a second, recharching yourself, freeing your mind and then when you go back to work, you will be far more productive. Also, a few short 10 minute breaks will be enough to recharge during the day, instead of taking a 1 hour lunch break.
Stop worrying about evertything
Take naps
Yes! Naps are actually really good for you! Not like the 2 hour naps, no, we're talking about the 20 minute power naps. Naps lead to improvement in cognitive function, creative thinking, and memory performance. So if you can and you feel like you need to recharge, take a powernap and you'll feel totally re-energized and ready to tackle the work.
Don't check your email on your smartphone
Are you one of the many people who read their emails on their smartphones, leaving you 'working' till late in the evening while you should be relaxing instead? There's only one solution to really seperate work and personal life: delete that inbox from your smartphone. It's a proven fact that we are less focussed and more likely to get sloppy after 8 hours of working. So stop sending those emails late in the evening and get back to them the next morning, when you will be far more productive.
Organize your work space
Do you recognize that feeling when you desperately need something asap that you know is somewhere on your desk, but you can't find it? That state of panic and frustration probably sounds familar to many people, as it is just so hard to stay organized when you've got so much stuff and so much to do. That is why organizing your desk and workspace is so important. Stack your stuff in drawers, desk organizers and keep pens in pen cases. A clutter-free desk will start your day so much better! Another great item you need to have if you're someone who needs to write everything down in order to not forget: a deskplanner! Dutch law student Lily recently launched her own desk planner, and it is the prettiest one out there!

When it comes to trends, we love going back in style. The 90's trends have been making their comeback since last year and the crop tops, tattoo chokers, matte lips and high waisted jeans are still going strong in fashion and beauty land. But let's get back to the beauty trends, because when it comes to eye make up, it is actually a trend from the 80's that we're seeing more and more nowadays. Hello sexy blue eyes!
Well how do we wear this cool make up trend nowadays? If you don't want to go overboard with the pop of blue on your eyes, just stick with a blue eyeliner. Blue is one of the only colors that looks great with any eyecolor, skintone or hair color, so trying out a blue eyeliner could really be fun for everyone! Instead of a liner along the lashline, you can also apply a blue eye pencil on the waterline of your lower lashline for a more subtle look.
Or are you a bit more of dare devil? Go for a blue mascara on the top and bottom lashes! This will definitely turn those eyes into eyecatchers! You can keep the rest of the look simple with a nude lip, of go for the ultimate 80's look with a hot pink lipstick. How funky!
Wanna keep it a little more plain? Instead of going for blue mascara or eyeliner, go for a hint of blue in your eyemakeup. A blue smokey eye is the perfect look for a night out.
