ENG: whereas lots of bloggers have been seen with comfy shoes like slip-ons and loafers, I'm going for a slightly different version: boat shoes! I absolutely love boat shoes and I think they're still a bit underestimated. Who says boat shoes are only for on deck? They're super cute, comfortable and chatham.co.uk has got them in lots of different colors and models, for men, women and children. Boat shoes can be worn with many different styles. I would wear my Jessa navy shoes casually like I did in these photos. I wore them with a plain navy top, skinny jeans and a striped blazer. But picture these cuties with a white crop top, high waisted jeans and a navy leather jacket? I think it would look fabulous! The shoes I've got are slip-ons with tassels and they are made out of genuine leather, which makes them very comfortable!

NL: de laatste tijd zie je veel bloggers met comfortabele slip-ons a lá Cèline en loafers, maar ik ga voor een iets andere variant daarop... boat shoes! Ik vind ze echt super schattig en ik denk dat ze nog een beetje onderschat worden. Bootschoenen zijn absoluut niet meer alleen voor op de boot! Dat laten ze zien bij  chatham.co.uk. Ik zou mijn Jessa navy bootschoenen lekker casual dragen zoals in de onderstaande fotos. Hier droeg ik ze met een simpel blauw shirtje, skinny jeans en een gestreept jasje. Maar hoe gaaf zouden deze schatjes niet zijn met een witte croptop, highwaisted skinnies en een donkerblauw leren jasje?? Lijkt mij super gaaf! De schoenen die ik heb zijn helemaal navy blauw met schattige kwastjes. Zowel de binnen als buitenkant is helemaal leer en daardoor lopen ze als slofjes!

ENG: When it comes to accesorizing, I've been very into the combination of white and gold lately. Ever since I've had this watch (which you can find all over Ebay) I've been combining white and gold a lot, because I think it's a chic combo. I love the plain white; it goes with everything and it's a fresh spring color. Gold can become too much pretty easily, but in my opinion it's classy when combined with a color like white. As for the nails, I went for a matte white OPI nail polish.

NL: Als het op accessoires aankomt, is de combinatie wit met goud mijn favoriet de laatste tijd. Het begon toen ik dit horloge kocht (gewoon een van Ebay). Ik vind dat spierwit met goud wel classy. Soms kan het met veel goud en bling snel iets too much worden, daarom ging ik voor simpele sieraden. Mijn nagels heb ik wit gelakt met een matte OPI nagellak.

I've got a cute  Bubble bracelet which has got all the colors of the rainbow:) These types of bracelets are my favorite 'casual' bracelets because of the way they close... It's very handy; they can never be too small or too big because you can simply adjust them in size.  As I love everything spikey or studded, these spikey earrings are great. 

As for the rings, I am absolutely in love with them! I have a major rings obsessions, especially the above the knuckle onces. I've got this arrow ring which should be an above-the-knuckle ring but it's a bit too big so I wear it like a normal ring. This adorable cat ring is also an above-the-knuckle ring but I wear it like a normal ring because it's a bit too big for that as well. Last but certainly not least: I've got this big, chunky above the knuckle ring that does fit perfectly:D I love this one!

NL: Zoals jullie weten ben ik een enorme sieraden fan, vooral als het nét wat andere sieraden zijn. De webshop Ohsohip.nl verkoopt precies het soort sieraden waar ik van houd! Ik weet zeker dat jullie het ook een te gekke webshop vinden; je vindt er namelijk allerlei uber hippe sieraden zoals ringen, kettingen, armbanden en oorbellen. Echt helemaal Oh So Hip!

Ik heb een schattige Bubble armband die alle kleurtjes van de regenboog heeft:) Dit soort armbandjes zijn mijn favo 'casual' armbandjes. Ze zijn super fijn omdat ze nooit te groot of te klein kunnen zijn, je kan met de touwtjes bepalen hoe strak 'ie moet zitten. Deze  arrow ring is eigenlijk een above-the-knuckle ring maar hij is wat aan de grote kant daarvoor. Dus draag ik 'm mooi als normale ring! Hetzelfe geldt voor de cat ring, maar dat maakt ze niet minder leuk;) Mijn favo ring is zeker weten de chunky above the knuckle ring, die overigens wel perfect past. Wat houd ik toch van ringen!

ENG: I am sure you have all heard of Harrods. I visited Harrods in London for the first time when I was only little, but I'll never forget that impressive building, walking into Harrods and seeing the beautiful tribute to Lady Diana and Dodi Al Fayed and the gorgeously decorated departments. The big spacious stores definitely impressed me, it is so breathtaking and the employees are helpful and very well  mannered. In case you are wondering what you can get at Harrods.. What can you not get?! Harrods sells everything from clothes, jewelery, electronics, beauty products, even products for your pets. Of course, I loved the fashion department the most♥

For us fashionistas's, Harrods offers luxury brands like Balenciaga, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and one of my personal favorites: Longchamp. Whether it's the ever-classic Le Pliage or a sporty new take on the Gatsby, the bags are right there at Harrods. Another one of my favorites is Stella McCartney, I love her style of sharp tailoring and feminine items. Michael Kors, gosh, I love this brand. The watches are every fashionista's dream and those bags are so elegant, the Selma satchel has been on my wishlist for a while now. NL: Ik weet zeker dat jullie allemaal gehoord hebben van Harrods. Ik bezocht Harrods voor het eerst toen ik nog een klein meisje van 8 was, maar ik kan me nog zo goed voor de geest halen hoe geweldig ik het vond. Ik keek mijn ogen uit! Bij binnenkomst was er het prachtige monument van Lady Diana en Dody Al Fayed, en eenmaal in de winkels kon ik niet geloven hoe groot en luxe alles eruit zag. Daarnaast is het personeel enorm netjes, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mocht je je afvragen wat je nu kunt kopen bij Harrods? Alles! Van kleding, sieraden, elektronica, beauty producten en zelfs alles voor je huisdier. Natuurlijk vond ik de enorme modeafdeling helemaal fantastisch.

Ik houd er van om te expirimenteren met nail art en stickers etc op mijn nepnagels. Ik koop ze altijd bij een zaakje bij mij in de buurt, maar toen ik deze roze metallic tips op Ebay zag, besloot ik ze gewoon te proberen! Ze passen niet zo perfect als mijn normale nepnagels, maar toch, het effect is super! Ik ken geen nagellak die hetzelfde effect heeft als  deze nagels. Ik ga waarschijnlijk nog meer kleurtjes proberen, deze verkoper op Ebay heeft de metallic nagels namelijk in veel meer kleuren zoals goud, roze, zwart, blauw, groen en paars. Wat vinden jullie van mijn nagels? 

Celebrity Style: Cara Delevingne

I think we all know Cara Delevingne as the face of Burberry and the younger sister of it-girl and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne. I often see pictures of Cara on weheartit and her style is an inspiration to me. Of course she often wears Burberry for shows, but I especially like her 'model off duty' style. She obviously likes funny T-shirts, beanies and making a statement with her outfit.

What I really love about her is that she seems to just throw on a pair of jeans, a comedy T-shirt and boyish beanie hat, and she still looks so stylish! Some of the key items we see in her outfits a lot are definitely the platform Burberry boots, leather jackets and printed tee's. I love her hair and make up, which varies from plain hair and make up combined with a beanie, or super glamorous and voluminous hair with smokey eyes and red lips.

Volgens mij kennen we Cara Delevingne allemaal wel als het gezicht van Burberry en als het jongere zusje van it girl Poppy  Delevingne. Ik zie vaak foto's van Cara voorbij komen op weheartit en haar stijl inspireert me altijd enorm. Ze draagt vaak kleding van Burberry tijdens shows, maar wat ik vooral zo leuk vind is haar 'vrije tijd' kleding. Het lijkt er vaak op dat ze gewoon een jeans uit de kast trekt met een grappig t-shirt en beanie, en het geheel staat haar super stylish! Zie hier mijn favoriete Cara Delevingne foto's, ik ben benieuwd welke jullie het leukst vinden!

My magazine debut; I'm in this weeks' Dutch Grazia! About 2 months ago, I spotted a tweet on Twitter from the Grazia: they were looking for girls/women with a huge love for make up. True make up addicts who were willing to do a make under. Three girls (including me) were chosen to do this challenge! From all over the top make up to barely any make up left: here's the scan of my make under.

One thing that imidiately caught my eye was that they got my name wrong! For such a big magazine as Grazia that's a pretty stupid mistake. The 'before' picture was taken from my blog (the one from the shoot wasn't used obviously) and since my name is also visible on my blog, they should have just gotten it right. Nevertheless, I think it's awesome that I'm in this magazine and the reactions I got so far were really nice.

Personally, it feels really strange seeing myself that natural, it's like that's not even me. It felt uncomfortable, and I was worried it would show in the pictures. Given the circumstances that I had very teary eyes from the make up remover and it was sooo cold on set; I think the picture turned out okay. It was a fun experience and it was good to see myself in a natural look. As I said in the interview: my motto is more is more, and I'm gonna stick with that. To me it doesn't matter if one wears a lot of make up or no make up at all; do what makes you most comfortable. For me, that's wearing make up!

I'd translate the article into English for my foreign readers, If I'd have the time, which I don't :( I am so so stressed and worried about deadlines and school projects so I'm gonna make this a short post and get back to my homework! Mijn tijdschriften debut! Ik sta deze week in de Grazia !(nr. 21) Ongeveer 2 maanden geleden las ik een tweet van de Grazia dat zij op zoek waren naar vrouwen die in de make up zaten en een make under wilden ondergaan. Dat leek me wel wat! Ik werd met 2 anderen uitgekozen voor de make under: van een opgedofte make up look naar au naturel, zie hieronder de scan van mijn make under! 

Jammer dat ze mijn naam verkeerd hebben, dat is niet zo professioneel van een groot tijdschrift als Grazia. Ook worden mijn quotes aardig overdreven...Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken; ik vind het heel gaaf dat ik in de Grazia sta en ik vond de make under een erg leuke ervaring! Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie van mijn make under vinden :D

DIY: "You Go Glen Coco" (Mean Girls) T-shirt!

I have a huge crush on fun clothes or accessories with cool prints or quotes on them. A little while ago I made a post in which you could see Little Mix's Jesy Nelson wearing the "You Can't Sit With us" beanie, inspired by the famous Mean Girls quote. You can see it here. I've been going after it for weeks but it's sold out everywhere. If you happen to find an online store that sells them, let me know!

Yesterday another Little Mix member, Jade Thirwall, posted a picture on Twitter of her in a T-shirt with "You Go Glen Coco" on it. Also a Mean Girls quote! You can get the Tee at Doll Boutique. As much as I love that tee, I didn't feel like paying 40 euros + shipping costs for it if it's so easy to DIY! I was going for an oversized mens tee but instead I bought an oversized tank top at H&M for 4 euros, and a textile marker for 1 euro. So, my version of this t-shirt cost me only 5 euros. Gotta love DIY-ing♥

Ik heb een zwak voor kleding met grappige printjes of teksten erop. Een tijdje geleden kon je in een artikel over Little Mix zien dat Jesy Nelson  een superschattige beanie droeg met de welbekende Mean Girls quote "You Can't Sit With Us". Die wil ik zo graag hebben, maar helaas is hij overal uitverkocht. Mocht je een online shop kennen waar ze hem nog hebben, laat het me weten:D

Gisteren plaatste Jade Thirlwall, ook van Little Mix, een foto van haarzelf op Twitter in een superleuk shirt met de tekst "You Go Glen Coco". Ook van Mean Girls! Zo'n hilarisch shirt is echt iets voor mij, maar ik heb geen zin om 40 euro + verzend kosten te betalen voor een tshirt dat ik net zo goed zelf kan namaken! Lekker creatief op mijn vrije dag:) Ik ging naar de stad om een simpel T-shirt te halen, dat uiteindelijk een oversized hemd werd. Het shirtje was maar 4 euro (H&M) en de textielstift was 1 euro, dus mijn DIY is stukken goedkoper dan het origineel. Als je benieuwd bent hoe ik deze DIY gemaakt heb, lees dan snel verder!

Review: Shielo Leave-in Protectant

The product is clear, non sticky and it smells good, a bit coconut-like ...I am very impressed, so I guess this leave in protectant is for keeps! You can find it here !
