DIY: "You Go Glen Coco" (Mean Girls) T-shirt!

I have a huge crush on fun clothes or accessories with cool prints or quotes on them. A little while ago I made a post in which you could see Little Mix's Jesy Nelson wearing the "You Can't Sit With us" beanie, inspired by the famous Mean Girls quote. You can see it here. I've been going after it for weeks but it's sold out everywhere. If you happen to find an online store that sells them, let me know!

Yesterday another Little Mix member, Jade Thirwall, posted a picture on Twitter of her in a T-shirt with "You Go Glen Coco" on it. Also a Mean Girls quote! You can get the Tee at Doll Boutique. As much as I love that tee, I didn't feel like paying 40 euros + shipping costs for it if it's so easy to DIY! I was going for an oversized mens tee but instead I bought an oversized tank top at H&M for 4 euros, and a textile marker for 1 euro. So, my version of this t-shirt cost me only 5 euros. Gotta love DIY-ing♥

Ik heb een zwak voor kleding met grappige printjes of teksten erop. Een tijdje geleden kon je in een artikel over Little Mix zien dat Jesy Nelson  een superschattige beanie droeg met de welbekende Mean Girls quote "You Can't Sit With Us". Die wil ik zo graag hebben, maar helaas is hij overal uitverkocht. Mocht je een online shop kennen waar ze hem nog hebben, laat het me weten:D

Gisteren plaatste Jade Thirlwall, ook van Little Mix, een foto van haarzelf op Twitter in een superleuk shirt met de tekst "You Go Glen Coco". Ook van Mean Girls! Zo'n hilarisch shirt is echt iets voor mij, maar ik heb geen zin om 40 euro + verzend kosten te betalen voor een tshirt dat ik net zo goed zelf kan namaken! Lekker creatief op mijn vrije dag:) Ik ging naar de stad om een simpel T-shirt te halen, dat uiteindelijk een oversized hemd werd. Het shirtje was maar 4 euro (H&M) en de textielstift was 1 euro, dus mijn DIY is stukken goedkoper dan het origineel. Als je benieuwd bent hoe ik deze DIY gemaakt heb, lees dan snel verder!

Review: Shielo Leave-in Protectant

The product is clear, non sticky and it smells good, a bit coconut-like ...I am very impressed, so I guess this leave in protectant is for keeps! You can find it here !

Shopping spree

It's been so long since I actually went inside shop because I've been doing all the shopping online. I needed a simple white shirt for my You Go Glen Coco DIY shirt, but the search for that shirt turned into an entire shopping spree. Here's what I bought at H&M last week and all the stuff that came in from Ebay (oh, and a Links of London bracelet)!  
By the way, what I love about Ebay is that I buy something, I forget about it as time passes, and 3 weeks later I get all my packages at once, haha!

Deze week voelde het echt even als kerstmis! Ik kreeg superveel pakketjes op éen dag binnen en er zijn er nog 9 van Ebay onderweg:) Het is echt lang geleden dat ik voor het laatst ging winkelen, als in een échte winkel bezoeken. Ik koop tegenwoordig alles online, vooral via Ebay en H&M. Afgelopen week ging ik in de H&M in Nijmegen op zoek naar een simpel shirtje voor mijn  You Go Glen Coco DIY, maar dat eindigde in een middagje shoppen! REVIEW: DIRTY LOOKS HAIR EXTENSIONS

After seeing this first picture, you may have noticed something different about me..  I've got new hair extensions! I'm a big fan of very long hair, so I chose the 24-26'' / 61-65 cm full head 100% human hair extensions from Dirty Looks(used to be HeadKandy) in Melted Chocolate. DirtyLook's shipping is very fast that's for sure, I got them in just 3 days. They were also very helpful with deciding which color to get; great service!

I have been wearing clip in hair extensions off and on for 3 years and although I am no professional at all; I now know a huge amount about them which I have picked up over time. I couldn't help but jump for joy when I got my package! The extensions came in this cute purple box, along with an instructions guide, a sample clip in and extra clips. The hair looked great; shiny, super long and super thick. I took the sample clip out and it matched my color perfectly! Even though I know how to use clip ins, I went through the instructions guide before clipping them all into my own hair. Literally takes about 5 minutes!

The extensions are 100% human hair and they've got numbers on them so you'll know which weft to apply first. (I've got 10 of them in total) To put them in I just section off my hair, starting from the bottom up. I backcomb each section of hair at the roots and add some hairspray to give the clips something to hold on to. People always think they can fall out, but even if you have naturally thin hair like me, trust me. They won't!

Since the extensions are great quality 100% human hair, you can curl  and straighten them like your natural hair. I did both, so I can show you what they look like both way:) Don't forget to always use a heat protectant spray or other protecting product. The extensions should stay super soft and shiny when you take good care of them. I've just started wearing them so I can't be the judge of that yet, but from these 2 days of wearing them all I can say is: the quality is great, they're super easy to use, they come in with extra clips and a sample clip, Dirtylook's service is great... I'm a very satisfied girl with very long hair!

OUTFIT: The UGG Australia shoes

I am absolutely in love with these shoes, they're Morrocan style and are made of high quality materials. I love the print on the silk and the leather foot bed makes these wedges feel like heaven. The heel is actually 11,5 cm but you definitely wouldn't say so while wearing them.

Ugg Australia sent me these super fast, and they came in like the first picture below. The plastic kept the shoes perfectly in place. Great service!

I wore the shoes with a kind of edgy outfit; some leather and black and a H&M mens top to toughen up my look. Exactly the way I like it: sugar and spice and everything nice:)

Vandaag laat ik jullie mijn outfit zien met mijn nieuwe  UGG Australia schoenen! De wedges zijn van prachtig zijde in een Marrokaanse stijl en een super comfortabel leren voetbed. Dat ze 11,5 cm hoog zijn merk ik niet eens:)  UGG Asutralia stuurde mij de wedges heel snel op en ik kreeg ze binnen met plastic 'houders' zodat ze mooi in model blijven. Top service!

Ik houd van schattig en lief, maar ook van stoer en edgy... Daarom heb ik de wedges gecombineerd met zwart leer en een stoere top van de mannen afdeling van H&M;) Wat vinden jullie van de wedges?

REVIEW | DOUBLE BEAUTY'S MONOÏ OIL SPRAY

I am an absolute sucker for luxurious skincare like body oils, as you may know;) Double Beauty sent me a bottle of Monoï Oil, which is the beauty secret of Tahiti! For centuries, the beautiful women of Polynesia have used Monoï Oil to moisturize and condition their skin and hair. Yes girls, this is an oil that you can use for your skin AND hair! ♥

The ingredients are cocos nucifera oil, gardenia tahitensis flower, perfume, and tocopherol. No paraben or other preservatives, so no allergies not even for the most senasitive skin. This moisturizing oil nourishes, restores and protects skin and hair. That is what I've been doing for the past 3 days, and I feel a major difference, Since my the ends of my hair are bleached to ombre, they get dry and tangle a little more than usual. So you could also give the hair an intense deep treatment by using the oil as a hair mask, before shampooing. 

The Monoi Oil can also be used as body oil, massage oil and even bath oil for its relaxing scent and moisturizing effects on dry skin! You know what I did? I replaced it for my night cream. I apply a little bit on my face, massage it and then go to sleep. I don't know of this is actually true or if its just between my ears, but the lovely scent makes me feel calm and relaxed, so it's perfect before going to sleep;)

All the new stuff

My two big H&M orders haven't arrived yet, but here are the other new things I got this week. I promiss I will stop spamming my own blog with ''omg Isabel Marant sneakers'' because this  is the 3d or 4th day in a row that I wrote about them. But I didn't have a good picture of my new pair so here it is:)
I decided to buy some simple crystal earrings because I usually either wear long ones or no earrings at all. My grandmother also gave me a pair of vintage golden ones, which I love to wear for special occasions. I've got a great L'oréal blusher, I'll show how gorgeous and shimmery it looks in a new makeup post or video. I've also got a new silk jacket, pink snakeskin phone sleeve and a new bracelet:) Likey likey?
